Athens to experience

planned blackout Sat.

ATHENS — Parts of the Village of Athens will experience a temporary loss of power Saturday between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. The scheduled outage is needed for Central Hudson to conduct their system upgrade. Notices announcing the outage have been sent to all affected residents and businesses in the village and nearby areas. The rain/snow date for the company’s work is Dec. 13.
