Jenica Donisan
Came to the U.S. in 1977
ROXBURY — Jenica Donisan, 86, of Prattsville died Oct. 19, 2008 at her home in Prattsville.
Born on April 8, 1922 in Muncelul De Sus, Jud. Iasi, Romania, she was the daughter of Vasile and Catinca Burghelea.
She married Constantin Donisan on Nov. 11, 1944. He predeceased her on Dec. 1, 1991.
Mrs. Donisan came to the United States on Dec. 1, 1997.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Suzette Donisan of Prattsville; grandsons, Julius Romica Donisan and Austin Philipp Donisan; and sisters and brothers in Romania.
Donations in memory of Jenica Donisan may be made to the Prattsville Rescue Squad, the Relief Fund for Romania.
Funeral and committal services will be held in her home birthplace in Romania.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Miller Funeral Home, Roxbury.
