Men stopped on thruway had drugs, baby in car

ATHENS — Three people were arraigned in Athens Town Court Thursday after an incident in which their car was stopped for speeding on the New York State Thruway. They were remanded to Greene County Jail by Athens Town Justice James Robinson Jr. in lieu of $20,000 bail.

Police allegedly found a loaded handgun, cocaine and marijuana in their car when NYS Police stopped the vehicle, which was carrying a child, for speeding.
